Robert D. Branch, Jr. R.P.A.-C.

Robert Branch’s interest in medical science started when he was a Naval Corpsman working as an operating room technician. After he completed his military service he temporarily joined the hospitality industry by working in several of the best fine-dining restaurants in the country.

In 1993, Mr. Branch re-entered the medical field and majored in pre-medicine at McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas and obtained his Associates Degree. In 1995, he received his Bachelor of Science in Physician’s Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. In 1999, Mr. Branch received a Master’s Degree in Medical Science, Major in Medical Science (Rural Primary Care) at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia.

Mr. Branch completed a surgical residency for Physician Assistant at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in Staten Island in 2003. After graduation, his orthopedic career began at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn as a Physician Assistant in Orthopedics. In 2005, he joined Brooklyn Hospital Center as Senior Physician Assistant in Orthopedics.

In May 2007, after deciding to move to a more rural community to continue his career, Mr. Branch joined OSM to assist our surgeons in providing patient care in the office and hospital settings. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant’s, the New York State Academy of Physician Assistant’s and the Physician Assistant’s in Orthopedics.
